Hotel Leonardo - Pisa

the breakfast spread had plenty of options for all tastes. unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't work.

Thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, it is intimate and fairly clean, has marvellous and excellent location near shops & tower. The personal was very welcoming. Satisfactory breakfasts with of course coffee and meat, for example, everyone could try something new.

It's location a few metres from the main shopping street in Pisa was good for strolling in the evening and locating restaurants. Quiet location on a narrow pedestrian only street.

We did not have a car, but if you did then parking would have been inconvenient.

Great base for exploring Pisa!

I spent a lovely 3 nights here, enjoying a convenient location, made it easy to stroll to the Leaning Tower and nearby sights. The room was pretty basic but clean enough for a short stay, though I found the beds could use a bit more comfort. The breakfast was simple, just enough to fill me up for my morning adventures. The shower temperature was a bit unpredictable, which could be improved.

The location is perfect, just a short walk from the University. Daily fresh-laundered towels.

Rooms felt a bit outdated, and the shower had inconsistent temperatures, occasionally plunging into cold. The bathroom lacked basic amenities like a soap dish. WiFi barely reached the rooms, and the TV was old with no functional channels. The breakfast included was average, with coffee costing extra.

It is in the centre of the Pisa, near to everything you need to see. The hotel and the employees are ok.The breakfast is very good

The room we stayed was really dirty. Under the bed you can find some interest things, like pieces of food, dust, sockets...Also you must pay for wi-fi something like 3 euros for 4 hours.

the location in fantastic, right in the heart of the city, close to great pizzerias

This place suits me perfectly, offering Wi-Fi, air conditioning, express check-in/out, and luggage storage. I remember how the staff helped me with my luggage during my first stay. I highly recommend enjoying a relaxing stay here. I'm coming back for a business trip.

The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel Leonardo is within easy walking distance of the leaning tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. It is a short bus ride from the airport, just over the river Arno. The room and on suite bathroom were clean, although simply furnished it was adequate and spacious enough, for our needs, there is a lift to the upper floors if mobility is a problem. The dining room was pleasant with a reasonable selection of cereal, breads,cooked meats, yogurt, drinks etc. and a small lounge to sit in although we were too busy visiting the sights to make use of this. The reception staff were very helpful with information about bus and train times for a day trip to Florence. I was there with my daughter and we both thought the hotel was ideal for our stay.

I found the bed mattress a bit hard, but nothing to complain about. The last morning we were at the hotel, we had to have a cold shower as there was no hot water, so it definately woke me up and made me move faster. However these were minor problems and I would book this hotel again.

It is an ok stay for 30 quid. In the middle of medieval pisa. The recepcionists were all very friendly and helpful.

Medieval are not only the beautiful alleys all around the hotel, but also the long-established fungi in the shower. The safe is excellent for carrying around in an old handbag. In any average suitcase you may store up to four of them and carry them home easily, for they are tiny and weigh little more than a small watermelon. The best thing is: You do not need any tools whatsoever, for the safe is happily dumped into the cupboard without any fixing at all. Pathetic. Please install proper safes or remove them completely. And please, would the maids kindly respect that people sometimes want to sleep out in their holidays, instead of cheering around the corridors as if Italia were playing the world cup final??? And please do not bark at me when i'm still lying in bed after ten!?! It's my holiday, not yours, for freak's sake. 6 Euro for use of an Internet Computer (one) in the lobby is mafia style. But, hey, it's for three hours and the recharge is free. So why not do your thesis research here instead of walking around the town?

Both lovable and frustrating

The location is ideal for exploring, just a short stroll to major attractions, and the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, the rooms feel outdated and lack some expected amenities, which can detract from the overall comfort.

Really helpful and knowledgable friendly staff. Great location close to the tower and a whole variety of restaurants and bars. Clean, comfortable and quite room. Breakfast was good too. Ticked all the boxes for us and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it or return.

The girl at the reception was very mice and helped us a lot.

There are renovation works in the street. Feels like a construction site. Breakfast was disgusting. A lot of stuff, but all very low quality.
